The idea for this ad is based on a sign well known to the Australian audience; then we added the product (video game console) in order to have an image that communicates the service (entertainment) that the company is advertising. This way the ad reaches the wide audience (18-55 year old). The typeface is sanserif to be clear since the size of the ad is not that big. Also the colors contrast between each other to create impact and bring the the eyes of the reader to the ad.
